On January 14, 2026, the China Industrial Cleaning Association held its third council first joint meeting and 2026 key work press conference in Beijing. The meeting officially released the '15th Five-Year Plan (Proposal) for the Industrial Cleaning Industry', clarifying the industry's development direction for the next five years.
The plan proposes to be guided by four main lines — 'Green, Intelligent, High-End, Service-Oriented' — to build a modern industrial system characterized by 'active innovation, optimized structure, strong safety resilience, and deep green foundation'. Key tasks include achieving systematic breakthroughs in core technology, advanced equipment, environmentally friendly chemicals, and intelligent methods.
Industry data shows that China's industrial cleaning market reached 58 billion RMB in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 12.6%. Among this, water-based cleaners account for approximately 47% of the market share due to their environmental characteristics, while hydrocarbon cleaners have achieved a compound annual growth rate of 15.3% in precision machining fields. The plan encourages enterprises to increase R&D investment in environmentally friendly cleaning agents and promote the upgrading of cleaning processes towards low-carbon, energy-saving, and high-efficiency directions.
Tansochem, as a technology enterprise with dual-line portfolio in hydrocarbon and water-based products, will closely follow the guidance of the '15th Five-Year Plan', continue to increase R&D investment and production capacity construction, and help China's manufacturing industry achieve green upgrades in cleaning processes.
