Ultrasonic cleaning and spray cleaning are two of the most commonly used processes, but many people don't know that these two processes have completely different requirements for cleaning agents.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

Works through cavitation effect. Low viscosity, low surface tension cleaners are recommended. Hydrocarbon cleaners with low surface tension (21-24mN/m) are ideal for ultrasonic processes. When using water-based cleaners for ultrasonic cleaning, a concentration of 3-8% is recommended.

Spray Cleaning

The biggest challenge is foam control. Ordinary cleaners produce large amounts of foam under high-pressure spray, leading to overflow. Specialized low-foam cleaners must be used, such as our TS-W300.

Quick Selection Guide

Ultrasonic + Hydrocarbon: Precision parts, electronic components, blind hole workpieces. Ultrasonic + Water-based: Hardware parts, molds. Spray + Low-foam Water-based: Batch parts, continuous cleaning lines. Vacuum + Hydrocarbon: High-end precision parts.
